Duties
and responsibilities: A
chef is responsible for overseeing all individuals who work under their charge in
the kitchen. He will also oversee the preparation of meals and ingredients,
final presentation, sanitary and timeliness on the part of the workers. The chef is also the main planner and he/she
is responsible for creating the recipes.
Salary:
A little bit over $51,000
Education:
Education isn't really required
to become a chef. Some chefs just learn by themselves.
Reflection:
I would definitely be a
chef. I love cooking. I think it would be the perfect job for me. When I cook I
forget about all my problems. Cooking helps me not think about my problems for
a little bit.
