Educator
Duties and Responsibilities: they create
programs that encourage wellness, health, and prevent diseases. The teach
people how to make good health decisions, avoid harmful behaviors, and incorporate
health activities into their lives. They may work in schools, colleges, public
health clinics, community centers, or hospitals. They are often responsible for
creating health education programs for the general public.
Salary: $48,790
Education: they must have their bachelor’s
degree but some employers may pre4fer candidates who also are Certified Health
Education Specialists. In some cases they may require a master’s degree.
Reflection: I would really like to become a
health educator. I’m really into that whole health related thing. It would be awesome
if I would tell people how to prevent from getting sick, what can cause them to
get sick, etc.
