Acupuncture

Duties and responsibilities: it involves inserting needles at points on the body’s surface to influence physiological functions. They treat a wide range of physical and psychological conditions and provide support for patients with chronic diseases. Licensed acupuncture practitioners are trained to provide a broad range of healthcare services, including internal, dental and visual care, as well as addiction treatment, pain management and rehabilitation assistance. Professionals are trained to treat the entire individual rather than the specific illness or condition. They take into account a patient’s physical, mental and emotional condition order to determine the proper course of treatment.
Salary: about $81,000
Education: A master’s degree program begins the core educational training for an acupuncturist. Most master’s level acupuncture programs require 3-4 years of study. Eventual in the most states is partially dependent on them completion of an acupuncture training program Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.


 Reflection: I wouldn't like to be an acupuncturist. I’m not interested in being an acupuncturist.
