Duties and Responsibilities: They
produce resources such as photography and graphic images for professionals
involved in patient care. There are four specialist areas: medical art,
clinical photography, videography, and graphic design. They usually work with hospitals,
research establishments, medical schools, and specialist publishers.
Salary: $62,000 - $100,000
Education: they must have their master’s
degree form an accredited two year graduate program in medical illustration.
Reflection: I don’t think I would like to
become a medical illustrator because I don’t know how to draw. I think it would
be really hard for me to be one.
