Final: Part 1

Final: Part 1

My interdisciplinary project was about Anemia. We talked about the importance of attending nutrition classes and taking supplements. In my group we had Karen, Lidia, and Kevin. Karen had to do the introduction, I had to do the second paragraph, Lidia had to do the third paragraph Kevin had to do the counter claim, and Karen had to do the conclusion. It wasn’t that difficult. I actually thought it was an easy project since everybody just had to do one paragraph and we just had to put them together in a PowerPoint. I only had time to work on my project in 3 classes. I think we needed time to work on our project in all of our classes. When it came to the day of the presentation I wasn’t nerves at all. Even though I had to present more slides than others I felt confident about myself. When it was time to present I was ready. I did notice that the people in my group were nerves. I just went with the flow. I did feel that we talked to fast. When it came to the panel asking questions my other group members didn’t know how to answer them so I had to give them an answer. That didn’t bother me at all. I wouldn’t change anything about the interdisciplinary project. I think it was awesome.

Student Success Statement

“When I do good, I feel good.
When I do bad, I feel bad.”

Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: I agree. I do feel bad when I do bad and I do feel good when I do good. A lot of people do things depending in the situation they’re in. Doing bad doesn’t make some of people feel bad; it actually makes them feel good about themselves. To other people doing bad does make them feel bad. It really depends on the person.

Mr. Haymore

Student Success Statement

“Take responsibility for your own body,
mind, and spirit, for your own physical,
 mental, and spiritual well-being.”

Mr. Haymore

Reflection: I agree with Mr. Haymore. If you take responsibility for those three things you will do well. Taking responsibility for your mind is thinking about what’s right and what’s wrong. Taking responsibility of your body it not doing what wrong and doing what’s right. Taking care of your mental and spiritual well-being is keeping the positive things and letting go of all the negative things.

Richard L. Evans

Student Success Statement

“We need the courage to start and continue what
we should do, and the courage to stop what
we shouldn't do.”

Richard L. Evans

Reflection: If you know you’re doing wrong you need to think about it twice because you might be hurting somebody else. You may not know it because your too busy focusing in what you’re doing wrong. You need to stop it. You need to stop doing wrong and start doing right. That will help you and it will also help others. Once you’re doing right you continue and youll feel good about yourself.

Mark Twain

Student Success Statement

“Always do Right.”

Mark Twain

Reflection: I agree with Mark Twain but some people don’t do right. Those people know they’re doing wrong when they don’t do right but they don’t really care. All they care about is what they want not what other people want. It really depends on their situation.

When you tell a lie it leads to another

Paul Hatch

When you tell a lie it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and, Oh Brother,
You’re in trouble up to your ears!
So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect you
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
‘Caused you can’t remember how many lies you’ve told me
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometimes you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up and then
Whatever will become of you?
So you lie and lie without even trying and each lie you tell will keep multiplying
‘Till the whole wide world will know you’re lying
Then you’ll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Dislike
And you should
When you lie, you’re closing the door
On everything good

Student Success Statement

“When you tell one lie,
It leads to another.”

Paul Hatch

Always speak the truth

Reflection: I agree with Paul. A lie does lead to another lie. It doesn’t matter if it’s a big lie or a little lie, you’ll always end up saying another one. People know it’s not right to lie but they don’t really care. They also don’t care of how it can affect other people.

Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving Break

During this whole vacation I stayed home the whole time. I cleaned the whole house and took out everything of my closet to clean it. I took care of my baby brother. My sisters and I played board games. We watched movies. For thanksgiving we went over to my aunt’s house. My aunt made turkey. Her neighbor made tamales, posole, and ham. My other aunt made mashed potatoes with gravy. We bought the deserts. We were all that my aunts neighbor’s garage. We listened to music, talked about our childhood and said jokes.

Physical Fitness

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body
it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship
between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and
complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew:
that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the
body is healthy and strong.”

President John F. Kennedy

Reflection: I agree with President John F. Kennedy. There are more things to physical fitness. It’s not just important to a healthy body.
